Rawlplug supports young dance talent at the WADF European Championships.
The WADF (World Artistic Dance Federation) held this year's European Championships in Plock (Poland), with dancers competing in three age categories - under 11 years, 12 to 15 years, and over 15. Close to 1300 dancers from 14 countries around the world took part in the event. Disciplines included two styles of modern dance - Urban Pop (disco dance) and Urban Street Dance (hip-hop). We provided financial support for children from the Fame Kids dance group in Legionowo (Poland), thanks to the initiative of a Rawlplug employee whose daughter took part in the competition.
Dancing with medals
During the championships the team faced strong competition, but the commitment and effort the young dancers had put into their preparation paid off with impressive results, including the following Europe Championship titles:
• European Championship Winner - Under 11 years, Trio
• European Championship Winner - Under 11 years, Showcase formations
In total, the team collected six medals in the Urban Pop category. Especially noteworthy are the achievements of the youngest dancers, who finished the competition in the European top ten in the Girls Solo, Duets and Mini formations classifications.
