Rawlplug presents the offer and our future prospects during DAFA’s 10th birthday gala

During the anniversary gala we outlined the potential of our products and summed up the activities undertaken by the Polish Flat Roof and Facade Association (DAFA).

In 2006, we were one of the member companies which set up the Polish Flat Roof and Facade Association (DAFA), as an organisation of entities operating in the flat roof and light steel construction sector in Poland. Within 10 years DAFA has successfully developed to create a platform where manufacturers and contractors can collaborate. “As leaders for roof and façade fasteners in Poland, Rawlplug continually strives to educate the industry in terms of the correct anchor technology, using the latest issued solutions,” says Joanna Burzyńska, Fixings Division Director at Rawlplug, and 2009-2011 president of DAFA. “We reach them through the development of technical guidelines for DAFA, which allows us to set standards in the Polish construction market.

Anniversary achievements

The 10th anniversary of the initiation of the DAFA association brought together nearly 200 representatives of the industry. Throughout numerous lectures participants gained an overview of the activities which continue to give impetus to the market for roofs and facades in Poland – encouraging the development of innovative solutions and raising standards. The time allotted for the Rawlplug presentation gave participants the chance to see the potential of our products and our plans for the future. We also focused on clarifying the interrelationship between the Rawlplug brand, which is relatively new on the Polish market, and the more well-known Koelner brand.
